Delete your account
You can delete your TurboGrid account and the data tied to it at any time, in the app or by email. Deletion is permanent: there's no undo. You can create a new account with the same email address afterwards.
In the app (fastest)
- Open TurboGrid and go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Enter your password and tap Delete my account.
- If you own a club that has other members, choose who takes it over. If you're its only member, the club is archived.
- Your account is deleted right away, and you're signed out.
By email, without the app
Email cal@artesialabs.dev from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my TurboGrid account” and your username. If you own a club that has other members, tell us which member should take it over.
We'll reply within 3 business days to confirm the request, and we'll delete the account within 30 days of your confirmation. If you no longer use that email address, tell us and we'll ask you to show you own the account another way, such as by signing in once.
What we delete
- Your sign-in details, email address, password, profile, title, bio, avatar, XP, level and settings. Your username and display name are removed too.
- Your cars, with their photos, logbook entries, parts, costs, receipt photos and ownership history, and car transfer offers to or from you.
- Your feed posts with the comments and likes on them, your comments, your event gallery photos, and your likes, poll votes, event RSVPs and availability answers.
- Your check-ins and the locations you reported, your check-in proof photos, your last reported positions in Tag games, your challenges, and your game rounds and entries on leaderboards that are still open.
- Your club membership, your requests to join clubs and the club invitations you received.
- Your push tokens, your notification inbox, and every block between you and other players.
- The text of your club chat messages: they show as “[message deleted]”.
Photos are deleted from our storage, not just hidden.
What stays, without your name
A few things stay because other players depend on them. Where they show who made them, they say “Deleted player” instead of your name.
- Events you created, and the club events, polls, plans, drive routes and game sessions you set up, with their photos.
- Your places on leaderboards that have closed, with your game rounds on them, until we delete the leaderboard 30 days after it closes.
- Weekly territory leaders, and Tag and crown history, including where each of your tags happened, so other players' results don't change.
- Your contributions to territory scores.
- Logos and banners you uploaded for a club: they stay with the club.
- Club invitations you sent to other players.
- A club you were the last member of, which is archived.
- Ownership periods and logbook entries on cars you transferred to other players: they stay with the car and its new owner.
- Reports you made.
- If you were on our staff, the waypoints you placed and the event submissions you made.
- If your staff role or Premium status ever changed, the record of that change.
- If moderators removed something you posted, the record of it, which we keep as long as needed to keep TurboGrid safe.
- A record that the account was deleted, when, and how much was removed, without your name or email address.
- A placeholder in place of your account, holding only its ID, when it was created and deleted, and the name “Deleted player”, so the things above keep an owner.
Copies
- Our server's logs: the log files our API writes are deleted after 14 days, and the console logs of the services on our server are limited to 50 MB per service, with the oldest entries deleted as new ones are written.
- Our backups are deleted after 14 days.
- We keep the emails about your request as long as needed to show we honored it.
- Copies other players made, such as screenshots or shares, are outside our control.
Delete some data without deleting your account
In the app you can:

- leave your club;
- turn off notifications in Profile → Settings → Notifications;
- hide your profile by turning off Public profile and Spotlight opt-in in Profile → Settings → Who can see you.
To ask us to delete anything else, such as your check-in history or the text of a chat message you deleted, email cal@artesialabs.dev from the email address on your account. We'll reply within 3 business days to confirm the request, and we'll complete it within 30 days of your confirmation.
