In the app, Profile → Settings → Help → Contact support writes the email for you, with your app version, your phone's system and your username, which helps us help you.
Report abuse or unsafe content
Use ⋯ → Report in the app on the post, comment, event, photo or driver profile, or press and hold a club chat message. Our moderators review reports and act on them within 24 hours. If someone is in danger, call 911.
Frequently asked questions
How do check-ins work?
Go to a waypoint or a meet on the map and open its page while you're there: TurboGrid checks you in by itself (tap Check in if it asks). Your phone's location must be on and accurate. If a check-in is refused, the app tells you why, for example that you're too far away or your location is too old or too inaccurate.
Why won't a minigame start while I'm moving?
Minigames only start while your phone is still, because TurboGrid must never be used while driving. Park somewhere safe first.
The app can't find my location.
- iPhone: Settings → TurboGrid → Location → While Using the App, with Precise Location on.
- Android: Settings → Apps → TurboGrid → Permissions → Location → Allow only while using the app, with Use precise location on.
The 3D map doesn't load, or my phone gets hot.
Profile → Settings → This phone → Performance settings lets you switch to the 2D map and lower the quality.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
Profile → Settings → Notifications, with one switch for each kind of notice.
How do I block someone?
Tap ⋯ on their post, comment or photo, or on their profile, and choose Block; in club chat, press and hold their message. You'll stop seeing each other's posts, comments, photos and chat messages, and they aren't told. Your blocked drivers are listed in Profile → Settings → Who can see you → Blocked drivers, where you can unblock them.
Who can see my profile?
Profiles are public by default. To hide yours, turn off Public profile and Spotlight opt-in in Profile → Settings → Who can see you. The Privacy Policy lists what other players can see.
I forgot my password.
Email us from the address on your account and we'll help you get back in.
Can I change my username?
Not yet. You can change your display name with Edit on your Profile page.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account. Without the app: see turbogrid.app/delete-account.
Which phones are supported?
iPhone with iOS 15 or later, and 64-bit Android phones with Android 7.1 or later.
